Concourse (Adult TCK Ministry) is pleased to have Roni Lacuesta from Compass Ministries as the speaker at the eleventh annual retreat, speaking on the theme, “Lessons from the Exiles: Grieving and Growing.”
Roni was born in the Philippines and grew up in the United States. After pastoring a church in the US, the Lord called him and his wife to be missionaries to Colombia, South America where he eventually became the pastor of a restoration church that helps drug addicts and alcoholics. Currently Roni lives in Tampa, Florida where he serves as the Executive Director of Compass, a ministry providing counseling and other services to missionaries and missionary kids.
The retreat on October 27-29, starts at 9:00 p.m. Friday evening and ends after lunch on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The retreat provides a safe space for self-reflection, intentional processing, community formation, connection making, and spiritual and emotional growth and healing. The schedule includes blocks of free time for hanging out and enjoying the camp's recreational activities.
This retreat brings together adult TCKs from all over the world, ranging from recent college graduates to late 20's-30's young professionals to TCK Caregivers who have spent decades working with Adult Third Culture Kids. Please consider joining us.
We are excited to return for the second time to Michindoh Conference Center in Hillsdale, Michigan. To help a bit with cost, we offer an Early Bird discount until July 31. We don’t want finances to prevent anyone from attending who wants to be there. We have some limited scholarships available provided by gifts from past participants. Prices increase by $20 on August 1st and again on October 1st.
